Mix Flax Seed
My wife and I have been using the flax and are liking it.
We both
mix flax seed in water, and is there a way to keep the flax from separating?
Thanks, Todd
P.S. I enjoy the newsletter you sent as well.

I am glad you are enjoying the flax -the
health benefits of it make flax an
exceptional value. Thank you for the complements on the newsletter.
Flax seed separating in water or any liquid is almost impossible to avoid due to all the
fiber in flax. I am sure you have noticed that as flax sits in liquid, that it starts to thicken up.
Here's what we do and what we recommend:
stir flax seed while you drink it and drink fairly quickly.
More about drinking flax. If you don't drink it quickly enough, it will thicken up and then some people can't stomach the thickened texture of flax.
So, if it get's too thick and you can't eat it that way, we
recommend freezing the flax drink (in your case, we would recommend add some juice concentrate- to sweeten it a little- and then freeze it).
This makes
a perfect slushy when you are in the mood for a great snack! And you can try
other ways to mix flax seed to various other food.
